Today it snowed! He is very comfortable in the snow. We got to enjoy a little walk later on in the evening. I stayed in most of the day and watched the world go by. Birds are amazing; they adapt to the weather. I saw many that flew and soared with the wind and prayed they would find rest. It looked exhausting.
It was Onyx’s first time feeling the snow. As I opened the door she ran towards it as usual as she loves the garden, but she stopped so quickly and observed until I decided it was time to greet the others.
We were visited by three bird species today; Pigeons, Starlings and a Wagtail. I was focused on the Wagtail a lot as it is the newest visitor. I always see them walking so fast that their legs start blurring or flitting incessantly at vehicle mirrors trying to catch insects and today one was in my garden!
The little Starling has visited for a couple of days and I can tell which one it is because it doesn’t fly away when I open/close the door unlike the others of its kind (watch this space). The regulars perch and wait.
I also started crocheting again recently and today I made a little panel for one of our windows. It isn’t exactly like the pattern; I added more rounds and stretched it into a diamond shape to make it fit but I like the result.
I didn’t think about it at the time but it really fits with the snowy theme of the day.

Today we went for a walk.
*shake shake shake*
We met Puss.
I like when we see Puss.
I like plants.
This plant is very functional. I like to walk by it.
What is this plant?
Such beautiful colours. Contrast. Opposites. Stunning.
We met some daffodils. There is a famous poem about daffodils.
I first saw the cat in the window box.
It was an honour to meet him.
This one is adorable.
I liked it’s “meow.” I looked back and saw it peeping out at the entrance.
I wonder if this one was feeling the cold like me.
Budding, blossoms and blooms that perish.
Can you see them?
A miracle in existence.
Even though it was freezing, I loved all that I saw and I especially enjoyed meeting fluffy living things.
